The mushroom rock is part of the granitic chaos of the Huelgoat forest, which was once part of the great forest of Brocéliande. It is a "tor", a stack of natural rock, which must weigh in the 200 tonnes ... It is one of the major curiosities of the Huelgoat forest. I tried to transcribe here in black and white the totally unusual character of this enormous rock in the shape of a porcini, heavy and massive in the middle of the delicate leaves of its forest environment. The path that surrounds it gives an idea of the size of the whole. Finistère, Brittany, Armorique Regional Natural Park.
