Author of the photo book "Faroe Islands, the land of maybe", I passionately recreate the faces and gazes of people, the reliefs of nature and the sometimes secret actions of its inhabitants. If beauty sometimes offers itself to the lens, it is most often necessary to flush it out. The shot becomes unique when the light, the scene and the framing, the strength of colors and expressions come together in harmony and vibrate in unison. It is these moments of discreet or marvelous zenith, profane or sacred, prosaic or magical, that I try to capture. Along a personal journey as part of the illustration photo, I gave free rein to my passion for natural landscapes. Nature photography has taught me to listen with all my senses to my surroundings. Waiting for the beautiful light or the grace of an animal pose, also taught me the virtues of patience. Within what is obvious and what is less so, beauty, multiple, always manages to show something of itself when we know how to look at it. Find my work on marcchesneau.fr
